Professional Summary

I’m a digital marketer with a focus on content creation and social media marketing. Currently based in New York, I’ve had incredible opportunities to work with clients around the globe. I write on literature, food and drink, travel, the arts, urban life, people, career, and other stuff.

My professional experience includes multiple roles handling content writing, copywriting, content marketing, branding, and social media in the field of media, travel, and technology, spread over 8 years.

As a Social Media Content Lead at Licious (CPG), a frozen meat-selling brand, I designed and executed a successful campaign that led to a 7% increase in product sales on the launch day. This campaign, ‘You Could Be The Next Brand Ambassador,’ was nominated as one of the best product launch campaigns in 2018 by Social Samosa, India. In my three-month term with the brand, the social media community grew by 15% across channels (Facebook + Instagram) owing to campaigns like #MadeWithLicious & #TheRightForTheLeftHanded. 

My association with the Global Brand, Xiaomi Technologies, involved coordinating and working with teams internationally- writing content and driving Mi TV marketing campaigns to increase site traffic. This multicultural experience helped me adapt a sense of willingness and capacity to understand and integrate competing perspectives into existing ideas.

Writing travel for HolidayIQ, a leisure and travel brand, my role was a mix (75%/25%) of brand content creation and curation for the audience. 

Reporting to the Brand Director, my role as a Content Strategist with Paperboy Online Private Ltd (media, news aggregator) entailed me to be responsible for everything content. This included conceptualizing, writing, scheduling, and publishing compelling marketing content to drive app downloads and grow the online community. 

If you peered into my brain, you’d find a list of tasks. ‘Prioritize’ is my mantra. As a volunteer for the American Marketing Association, New York Chapter, I serve on the Executive and  Networking programs, creating copies for post-event blogs, social media, and email marketing.

Content Specialist at Agape

Implementing a comprehensive social media strategy for their seasonal collection. Designed and executed digital strategies/ campaigns across social media platforms - defining the target audience, creating calendars, writing copy, analyzing performance, and pivoting to reach goals.

Responsible for increasing visibility of Patchwall(Mi TV's AI-based recommendation engine). Worked with content partners (HOOQ, Zee5, Hungama Play, EROS NOW, Sony, Alt Balaji) to drive marketing campaigns and promotions on Social Media to amplify content visibility PatchWall. Written blogs on new content/feature releases. Provide copy for email marketing campaigns. Work with teams across Xiaomi India and China(UX design team, product team) to create user-focused content. Used Power Bi reports to inform the approach, content decisions, and measure results.

● Achieved a 15 percent increase in site traffic for two consecutive quarters. (Mi TV was recognized as the No.1 SMART TV Brand for 5 consecutive quarters.)

Conent Lead at Licious

Joined the Licious team to help the business get the most out of its social presence. Created exclusive content calendars for existing and new markets. 

  • I designed and executed a successful campaign that led to a 7% increase in product sales on the launch day.
