Blush Social Startegy

The Brand

Blush has a range of sexual wellness products ranging from vibes, plugs, lubes, and more labeled under different sub-brand names/ collections. They are primarily manufacturers, and their existing customer base is the B2B retailers. Now, they plan to launch into the DTC market with a brand new website, Blush Vibe. 

 
The Ask

Brand awareness and visibility of Blush’s collections via social media while still maintaining a cohesive social media presence, not offending their existing retail customers, and still reaching the direct consumer. 

 

The Solution

Goal:

Establishing the brand as an educational authority and global thought leader in sexual wellness on social media would give more flexibility across all product lines and vertices and allow us to speak to the current customer base( B2B customers first ) without isolating the DTC consumer on social.

 

Objectives:

Further breaking this down into 3 objectives:

 

EXPAND BLUSH UNIVERSITY/WELLNESS SCHOOL INTO EPISODIC CONTENT WITH SEXUAL WELLNESS EXPERTS, EDUCATORS & INFLUENCERS.

Support current b2b customers with the education they can use for their customers while also educating future D2C customers. This would create a systematic collaboration tool that allows Blush’s collections to have different faces/ educators across vertices (vibes, lubes, and more). The short-form videos would live across IG, Tiktok, YT Shorts and are also embedded in blog content.

 

LEVERAGE VIRAL CONTENT TO REACH MORE PEOPLE & BUILD COMMUNITY. 

Opportunity to behave more like a personality and less like a brand. 

Create a short format or brand persona that leverages already proven viral content and position Blush as a relevant, credible content source. 

  • Example ideas: Stitch “ Sexy” videos for the first 1-3 seconds, then the host cuts in with “Now that I have your attention, did you know”

  • Join current trends with myths, facts, or funny “ personality”


 

EXPAND/ ESTABLISH A UGC CONTENT FORMAT, GUIDELINES, AND RELATIONSHIPS.
